Despite some rain mixed with the sun, there was a great turn out for this special centennial RAF celebration at Lyneham. The island in the Centre Parcs plaza is one of the more unusual places for us to play, with ginormous goldfish circling us and various ferns as well as a large Christmas tree present! We played various tunes for the families passing through and our conductor performed the bugle call at 11am.

As always, we ended the Sunday concert season for Chippenham; another year another summer full of various bands. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side so we had to end our session early.

An evening event for us for a change, at the Dauntsey Feast and Fete. Various stalls were setup and there was a brilliant turnout of locals. We played a great mix of music to entertain all ages.

Biddestone fete is always full of stalls and many activities for kids; we were delighted to play our regular mix with a few new tunes.

The start of another season of bandstand concerts. We played our mix of theme tunes, marches, swing pieces and classical music to a delighted audience.

We braved the chilly evening to play carols at the foyer of Morrisons for charity. Using our traditional Salvation Army carol books we played various carols and Christmas tunes from Away in a Manger to Jingle Bells, often taking requests.

We started our caroling season at Morrisons, playing to the shoppers entering and leaving the store. We played various tunes from traditional carols (God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, While Shepherds Watches) to Jingle Bells and The Holly and the Ivy. Donations were collected for our charity.
