John Coles Park, Chippenham
We were honoured to be part of the Commemorative Centenary & Sunset Ceremony, even playing the piece “Sunset” with sea scout and air cadet buglers. There were standards paraded and various tents exhibiting military information with quite a lot of people in uniform old and modern for the occasion. As well as our regular repertoire of…
Lacock Village Fayre
Thankfully the medieval Tithe Barn was available for us to relocate from our usual position near the school as the rain fell steadily throughout the day. It was certainly unusual to play with sand underfoot and under the old beams with occasional birds flying through but we had a steady audience seeking refuge and enjoying…
John Coles Park, Chippenham
We were delighted as always to play in Chippenham at the bandstand in John Coles Park. Despite one downpour of rain, for which the audience was well prepared, the afternoon went very well indeed. Pieces we played included a Star Wars medley, Fly Me To The Moon and Hawai 5-0.

Parade Gardens Bandstand, Bath
Absolutely wondrous weather to be in a bandstand surrounded by flowers. There were lots of people out and about enjoying the sunshine (and hopefully our music.) We played a whole mix of tunes from marches to theme tunes and swing. It was great to see so many friends and family of band members attending (and possibly…
Dauntsey Feast
It was with delight we returned for a second year to the grounds of Dauntsey Park House; and relief that we were provided with a marquee as yet again the weather wasn’t as pleasant as a Friday in July should be. Attendees were all in high spirits, well prepared with wellies and umbrellas. We matched their…
Biddestone Village Fete
It was with great trepidation that we set forth to the picturesque village of Biddestone to setup for the event as terrific thunderstorms had plagued the morning. Thankfully, the weather decided to grant the fete a reprieve as the sun shone throughout our performance – in fact it was so hot we had to remove…
