The final bandstand concert of 2014 was a delightful event with a great turnout of people enjoying the Autumn weather. Several of our pieces were even accompanied by a child’s bicycle bell!

We were delighted as always to play in Chippenham at the bandstand in John Coles Park. Despite one downpour of rain, for which the audience was well prepared, the afternoon went very well indeed. Pieces we played included a Star Wars medley, Fly Me To The Moon and Hawai 5-0.
Kington St Michael
In an unusual turn of events, we set up our stands among the gravestones near the Lychgate. We solemnly commenced our first set with a hymn before turning onto rousing numbers like “Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines” and the even older “Teddy Bears’ Picnic”.
