Carols at Morrisons
We started our caroling season at Morrisons, playing to the shoppers entering and leaving the store. We played various tunes from traditional carols (God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, While Shepherds Watches) to Jingle Bells and The Holly and the Ivy. Donations were collected for our charity.
Longleat Centre Parcs, Remembrance Day
We were delighted to play a 2 hour set at the Longleat Centre Parcs, with a pause at 11 for our bugler to perform the Last Post. The rest of the session included swing pieces, traditional marches, theme tunes and other music such as Teddy Bear’s Picnic!
End of Season Bandstand concert, John Coles Park
The end of another summer concert season always seems to arrive much too fast! We played our usual tunes with much gusto for the visitors to the park; our upcoming winter rehearsals involve practising new pieces so in the next bandstand season guests can look forward to hearing new tunes!

We played a large variety of tunes, from “My Way” to “Locomotion” and our trombonist was praised after…

We played a large range of tunes to kickstart the John Coles Park bandstand season; each Sunday from now until late September there will be a band playing in the park…
