Chippenham Town Band has a wide-ranging repertoire and is able to accommodate a number of different types of events. We regularly play at bandstand concerts, village fetes and a number of local charity events. We have also played at weddings, gala dinners, carol concerts and even as extras for a film.
We usually play for 2 hours including a short break between sets (specific details to be discussed via email/phone).
Band requirements: The majority of our music requires a fairly large band to play, to ensure a full-sounding performance. This means that we need the space to fit around 20 band members and a conductor. We bring our own stands, however, we do require chairs and a solid surface to sit on.
If playing outside, alternatives need to be considered in the event of a change in forecasted weather (i.e. playing under shelter or being able to move inside).
