14th July 2024, John Coles Park Summer Bandstand Concert

Midway through the Chippenham Council’s summer bandstand season we played 18 tunes from 3-5pm at the bandstand in John Coles Park, even with some sunshine this time! There was a fantastic array of visitors to the park enjoying the afternoon music ranging from:

  • Pop songs: Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling in Love and medleys from ABBA and Beach Boys
  • Film music such as How to Train Your Dragon and Pirates of the Caribbean
  • Marches such as March 1919 (from Curly’s Airships) and from films including The Jungle Book, Star Trek and Indiana Jones
  • Swing and Big Band music too!
