In quite a turn of events, the end of the bandstand season was accompanied by sunny weather and so a large and appreciative audience was in attendance! We were grateful for the applause after each tune; particularly as our numbers were diminished by band members having other commitments, so the pieces were a little more technically challenging! We played a large variety of tunes (some on request from the the audience) from Shrek, Embraceable You and a Robbie Williams swing medley to the Muppets Theme Tune and Barnard Castle.
Well done everybody – it sounded great!
